Employee Impact Score & Impact Fields (Proprietary Feature)
What Are Impact Fields?
Impact Fields are uniquely defined strategic categories that represent the key business areas where employees contribute measurable value. Examples include Innovation, Leadership, Operational Excellence, Client Experience, Strategic Thinking, and more.
Each feedback entry, OKR, task, recognition, and evaluation in Evalflow can be tagged with one or more Impact Fields — allowing all performance data to be meaningfully categorized and analyzed.
What Is the Employee Impact Score?
The Employee Impact Score is Evalflow’s proprietary and copyrighted scoring framework. It combines behavioral signals, task delivery, recognition, feedback, and OKR achievement — all tied to business impact fields — into one transparent, unbiased score.
How It Works
The score is computed using a weighted system that includes:
Quantity and Quality of Feedback received and given (tagged with impact fields)
Recognition Frequency and Variety across categories and impact areas
OKR Achievement Rates, difficulty levels, and contribution scores
Task Execution: delivery on high-impact and high-priority work
AI Analysis: tone, sentiment, consistency, and influence across performance data
The scoring adapts to context — for example, leadership roles are weighted differently from contributor roles. Evalbot continuously updates the score based on new data, and it is visualized in each employee’s profile.
Why It’s Better Than Traditional Systems
Contextual: Most performance tools evaluate employees in isolation. Evalflow scores performance relative to impact and real-world outcomes.
Fair and Transparent: Bias is reduced with AI-driven consistency checks, and scores are based on structured, field-tagged data.
Dynamic: The score evolves in real time, not just during review cycles.
Business-Aligned: Impact Fields are defined by the organization — ensuring alignment between performance and strategic priorities.
Holistic: It factors in feedback, OKRs, recognition, task execution, and influence.
Use Cases
Promotions & Reviews: Easily identify top contributors beyond popularity or visibility bias.
Coaching: Spot areas for growth and who needs support.
Recognition & Rewards: Recognize true contributors based on data, not intuition.
Succession Planning: Use longitudinal impact score trends to build your leadership pipeline.
Data Protection
The Impact Score system respects Evalflow’s strict RLS Security policies. Employees can see their own score and related breakdowns, while managers and HR see scores for their direct reports and teams.
Evalflow’s Impact Framework is a modern evolution of employee performance measurement — accurate, fair, and strategically aligned.
