How to Create and Run a Performance Review Using AI Templates

EvalFlow turns performance reviews into a seamless, stress-free experience.

1. Navigate to the performance reviews section to access review and template controls.

2. Switch to the Templates tab to create or manage performance review templates.

4. Enter a clear, descriptive name for your new review template.

5. Enable the Use sections toggle if you wish to organize review questions into separate sections. ( Optional )

6. Continue adding relevant questions to complete your review template manually.

7. Add your first question to Section 1 to start building the template.

8. Select Rating, Comment,Multiple Choice or a combination as the desired response type for your question.

9. Save it, go into edit mode to continue creating your template.

10. Use the AI assistant or manual mode to complete your template.

11. For AI assistant mode, you will be able to provide instructions to automatically create your template.

12. Provide instructions on desired section and question count, add any details to the instructions, then select the industry template matching your business.

13. EvalFlow will automatically generate a first draft of your performance review template.

14. Customize the generated template, update it for a final active template.

15. Move to the Review Periods tab to set up when and how the template will be used.

16. Click Create Template to begin crafting a custom performance review template.

17. Use the search or filter field to find specific review periods, participants, or timelines.

18. Open the Review Template dropdown and select your custom template for the new period.

19. Choose the appropriate template to define the structure and questions for the review period.

20. Set the Start Date to determine when the review period will begin.

21. Pick an End Date to define when the review period will conclude.

22. Select all available departments if the review should apply company-wide.

23. Optionally, select specific departments to target the review period.

24. Change the review period status from Draft to Active or Published when ready to launch.

26. Set the review frequency (e.g., Annual) according to your evaluation cycle.

27. Enter a meaningful name or description for the review period to clarify its purpose.

28. Finalize and create the review period, making it available for use throughout your organization.

29. Managers will be able to see and fill the review template in the Team's screen.
